With laser cutting, a parallel infrared laser beam is used. The work piece is quickly heated up by the beam of light, which creates a thin cut. At the same time. a gas chamber provides a flow of gas, usually oxygen or nitrogen.
The gas keeps the laser cut profile free from molten material.
Laser cutting result in an extremely even surface and extremely narrow cutting edge, only a few tenth of a millimetre.
The right angle of the cut is also extremely accurate.
We can laser cut materials of up to 10 mm in thickness. Contact us for more information!
