We celebrate our 25th aniversary

2005

We extended our warehouse with 2600 m2. This gave the company a total warehouse area of 5100 m2.

1998

As customers demand increasingly faster delivery and an increase in customised dimensions, we have held stock on-site, in our own warehouse, since 1998. This enables us to satisfy the demands of customers who require fast and guaranteed delivery, with a wide range of unique dimensions and alloys.

1990

A new method of working was developed. We realised the need to collect all the stock listed by our different suppliers, into one unique list - the Alutrade stock list. Today, our stock list contains over 7 000 dimensions.

1983

It all began in 1983 with an old desk underneath the stairs in a house in Vetlanda, Sweden. With 16 years of experience within one of the biggest aluminium manufacturers and suppliers in Sweden, the idea of starting a business of his own began to take shape. Christer realised that there was a major requirement for special dimensions and different alloys within Swedish industry, which is the reason why Alutrade was started.
