We keep 250 tons of square bars, flat bars and round bars in a large number of alloys and dimensions in stock. We can supply unique dimensions from our suppliers in Europe, for delivery in 1-2 weeks. We also have a wide range of hexagonal bars and wire, which can be delivered in 1-2 weeks. Larger volumes are produced directly at the extrusion plant with a delivery time of some 3-8 weeks. This enables us to offer a considerably greater range of dimensions and alloys.
All bars stored at Alutrade can be supplied in long lengths as well as being cut to specific lengths. We are able to handle dimensions of up to 450x450 mm with tolerances from ±0.1 mm, in linear measurement. A surface finish of less than 1 Ra can be obtained with our new digital radial saw which has a cut-slot opening.
We are also able to provide further processing and surface treatment of materials.
Special profiles can be produced, rather than standard profiles in accordance with the customer’s requirements. As the cost of producing dies is low, they quickly pay for themselves when it comes to larger quantities. The price of material is then lower and the processing time becomes shorter.
